Although Microsoft and CrowdStrike have taken steps to correct the problem, many are still being affected. If you, your business, or anyone you know is still down, the following workaround steps can be taken to resolve these issues.
Workaround Steps for the CrowdStrike outage:
Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment
Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory
Locate the file matching “C-00000291*.sys”, and delete it.
Boot the host normally.
